The reconstruction of the chapei depicted on the photographie of Emile Gsell will be on display from March 5 at the Rosewood Hotel, on the 29th floor of the Vattanac Capital Tower in Phnom Penh.
You will also discover the restored and colorized photographs of the musicians of King Norodom taken between 1866 and 1870 by the same photographer .

Chapei Dang Veng ... As part of the Chapei Dang Veng Festival, Riem Monisilong's work crossed the city of Siem Reap from his workshop to Wat Reach Bo on November 22, 2018. This work of 6.50 meters long was made from 6,000 used plastic bottles and 16,000 drinking straws.
